FARM

PROUDLY LOCATED AT THE FORMER MUNDY QUARTER HORSES

Nestled just 30 minutes north of Music City- Nashville, Tennessee our charming facility is located in the picturesque town of Cedar Hill, Tennessee. This hidden gem is set on 53 acres of lush countryside, boasting seven well-appointed stalls, including a double size foaling stall, hot and cold wash stall, outdoor riding area, RV hookups for convenience, and three sprawling pastures. Our gated entrance ensures both security and serenity. As for us, my fiancé, Cory, and I are proud to call the welcoming barndominium on-site our home.

Cedar Hill, located in Robertson County, is renowned for its connection to dark-fired tobacco. In the early autumn mornings, you'll be greeted by the mesmerizing sight of rich tobacco smoke wafting over the rolling hills, infusing the crisp fall air with an unforgettable aroma.

Just a stone's throw away lies Springfield, Tennessee, in Robertson County, a town with a history deeply rooted in the Civil War. During those turbulent times, Union soldiers occupied the town, even converting the historic Presbyterian Church into a makeshift stable for their cavalry horses. These horses, with a high likelihood of being government-bred Morgans, left their hoof prints imprinted in the hardwood floors of the inclusive and welcoming downtown congregation. This enduring reminder of history continues to be a cherished part of the community's heritage.

On this remarkable property, formerly graced by world champion Quarter Horses, we now strive to uphold the legacy of Karen Mundy, the most accomplished All-Around Amateur in Quarter Horse history. While In the Morgan Horse world I might say that I'm an aspiring "Peggy Alderman", in the south I'm a proud aspiring Karen Mundy. Karen generously allowed us to call this place our own after her retirement from training, united by our shared vision as amateur-owned, trained, and shown exhibitors.

Our cherished private estate not only serves as the loving home for our beloved Morgan horses but also marks the birthplace of our burgeoning breeding program, proudly bearing the Alden prefix. With great anticipation, we look forward to the arrival of our first foal crop in 2024. As we continue our journey, we remain committed to honoring the rich heritage of this remarkable property and the captivating history that surrounds it while.
